Honor completes its entry-level with the launch today of the Honor X7a. This new affordable product is positioned in France at a starting price of 239.90 euros and wants to offer the most generous autonomy possible to its users thanks to a 5330 mAh battery.
With this capacity and its Smart Power Saving mode, Honor promises autonomy of up to 19 consecutive hours in online video playback, and up to 26 hours in music streaming. A 22.5W fast charge is also offered to refuel once the battery is depleted. In this regard, Honor promises in its press release that 10 minutes on the mains will be enough to regain enough energy to offer three new hours of video streaming. Promises that we will of course have to verify in test.
Still according to the brand, its battery preservation technologies finally allow honorable longevity for this fragile component: even after three years of use, it should still be able to hold 80% of its initial charge capacity, we are assured. -we.
A rather classic entry-level smartphone
Apart from its large battery, the Honor X7a is a rather unremarkable affordable smartphone. The device has a 6.74-inch “FullView” and 90 Hz IPS screen… but in HD+ definition only, which turns out to be quite low in 2023. Under this screen is a MediaTek MT6765H octacore processor, coupled 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. And everything is powered by Android 12 and Magic UI 6.1.
