A Microsoft announced this Monday (6) that it will hold a presentation tomorrow (7) focusing on Artificial Intelligence. Few official details have been confirmed, but the main suspects point out that the company will announce integrations related to ChatGPT.
The event was initially confirmed by Frank Shaw, the company’s press agent, and later by Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAIthe organization that created ChatGPT, by posting a photo with Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft.
The expectation for the event comes amid a recent billionaire investment made by Microsoft, which injected more than US$ 10 billion to accelerate the advancement of AI and share the results with the world. Previously, the tech giant had already made two other major investments in OpenAI in 2019 and 2021.

Interestingly, news about the event began to circulate moments after the announcement of Google’s AI platform, the Bard. Given the resounding success of ChatGPT, it’s no surprise to see big techs wanting a piece of the pie in this new wave of AI conversations.
Recent leaks suggest that Microsoft is planning a ChatGPT deep integration with Bing browser. In addition, famous applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint should also start to gain some kind of AI implementation.
In the invitation to journalists, Satya Nadella promises to “show progress on some existing projects”, and it is likely that there is still something hidden for the presentation. The event will be held at 3 pm, Brasília time, at Microsoft headquarters, in Redmond (USA).
