Brooklyn have traded point guard Kyrie Irving to Dallas, according to insider Shems Charania.
The star basketball player was traded to the Dallas Mavericks for Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, a 2029 first-round pick and several 2029 second-round picks.
Markieff Morris will also join the Mavericks. Irving had previously submitted a trade request. His contract expires at the end of the 2022/23 season.
In 40 games this season, he averaged 27.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks.
Brooklyn is fourth in the Eastern Conference, 31-20.
