The director of the Romanian Universitati from Craiova, Pavel Badea, said that his club had previously been close to selling Bosnian striker Elvir Koljic to Dynamo Kiev for 10 million euros.
“I am optimistic, I would like Koljic to return to the top level. Two years ago, Koljic was close to an extraordinary transfer. We had an offer of 10 million euros for him, but he got injured 24 hours before the transfer. The offer was from Dynamo Kyiv, there were preliminary negotiations,” Badya said.
At the end of September 2020, the media did contain information about Dynamo’s desire to sign Elvir Koljic, whose abilities were highly appreciated by Mircea Lucescu. However, on October 2 of that year, the Bosnian was injured, due to which he was out for more than six months.
It is noteworthy that at the moment the estimated value of Koljic on the Transfermarkt portal is 1.1 million euros.
