Twitch streamer MissMikkaa has earned an infamous reputation for defeating the Elden Ring in the most unusual ways possible. After the dance mat and simultaneous play, the bosses are now musically on the collar.
MissMikkaa doesn’t shy away from a challenge when it comes to the Elden Ring. Since then, the streamer has conquered the game in a variety of ways, including using a dance mat, one-handed, and most recently playing two versions of the Elden Ring simultaneously.
Now she has found a new challenge and started playing the Elden Ring on a guitar. Not a completely new idea, after all, another streamer already defeated Margit on a harp, but okay.
We did it! Killed Margit today with an Acoustic Guitar! This might be the most inconsistent and hardest run so far hahaha, very fun! The plan is to beat Elden Ring by only using the guitar as a controller. pic.twitter.com/xF9FB8JeBq

As the streamer revealed to colleagues from Eurogamer, she uses a tool called AbjectAudioInputs, which makes it possible to link keyboard and mouse inputs with audio frequencies. In other words, it plays a note or chord and the tool converts it into the associated input.
The basic configuration doesn’t seem to have been easy, especially when it came to chords: “Using single notes was…much more consistent. So I isolated several chords that didn’t have overlapping frequencies and used single notes as actions mixed in the game. I ended up with about seven chords and six notes, but that can change over time.”
According to MissMikkaa, this run is her most volatile and toughest run yet, but some bosses are already done and everyone is waiting for the showdown with Malenia. You can watch her runs on MissMikkaa’s Twitch channel, it’s a real experience.
