As promised, the developers from Striking Distance studio continue to work on patches for their debut project The Callisto Protocol. For horror, they released a large-scale update in terms of volume and content, which added a new mode to the game and brought several fixes.
In version 3.02, a hardcore mode was added to The Callisto Protocol, which will be available to all players. The innovation will allow veterans of the game to test their survival skills in a replay, where the enemies will become much more deadly, and there will be extremely few tools to deal with them. For completing the hardcore mode, players will be able to get a new achievement.
The new update is over 10 GB in size, and along with the new modes, the patch also adds a set of costumes for season pass holders of the game.
Patch Notes:
Ray tracing performance improvements Localization fixes for voiceover/subtitle alignment and inconsistency. Optimized enemy combat AI when the player is surrounded by multiple enemies. Improved game stability on Steam Deck.
