On the day of Hot Wheels Unleashed’s entry into the Xbox Game Pass catalog with the new games of February, Velan Studios and Mattel officially present Hot Wheels Rift Rally, an augmented reality arcade racing experience coming to PlayStation and iOS in March.
Similarly to what was offered by the same Velan studios with the popular toys to life Mario Kart Home Circuit, the new video game in the Hot Wheels series puts users behind the wheel of radio-controlled cars to make them compete in circuits that exploit Augmented Reality to transform living rooms and bedrooms into spectacular arenas with the most diverse settings.
The Chameleon RC car, thanks to Augmented Reality, can digitally transform into more than 140 vehicle variations, including the iconic Hot Wheels cars from the Rift Rally series and the legendary Twin Mill, Bone Shaker, Mach Speeder e Gotta Go.
The Main campaign offers players an opportunity to create and explore their own virtual track to compete in a series of tournaments. In the mode Acrobaticshowever, players can freely dash around the map to chain drifts, wheelies and burnouts, earning rewards based on the score achieved.
