Studio Modus Games has announced a sports simulator in the discipline of American football called Maximum Football. An important “feature” is that the project is being developed on the Unreal Engine 5 engine, on which not a single sports simulator has yet been created. Because of this, the gameplay in places looks more beautiful than that of a competitor in the face of the Madden NFL series of games.
The second, but no less important factor in Maximum Football is that the project will be distributed using a free model. This aspect may well become one of the key ones in competition with the Madden NFL, if the gameplay is done at a decent level.
The developers also noted some features inherent in the future sports simulator:
Unsurpassed realism and physics (according to the authors). With stunning graphics, authentic gameplay and realistic grapple physics powered by Unreal Engine 5, you’ll feel like you’re on the field with your team. Dynasty mode, where players take on the role of head coach and create their ideal league. Mode “Professional season”. In it, players need to go to the professional season against 31 teams that are fighting each other for the championship. Endless personalization. Personalize every aspect of your team, from logos, jerseys and helmets to individual pieces of equipment, then share your creations with the community.Local and online multiplayer where you can take on players in Head-to-Head online modes or jump into local co-op with friends.
Maximum Football will be released in early access on Steam this spring, but for now, you can check out the first gameplay trailer for the project.
