Phase 5 of Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to start on the big screen with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. However, Loki season 2 is one of the most anticipated appointments this year on Disney Plus.
The serie starring Tom Hiddleston as the Marvel anti-hero, enjoyed a first season in 2021 that led to the brother variant of Thor in The Avengers to a new timeline where he was imprisoned by the Temporary Variation Agency.
Loki was forced to collaborate to find other variants of the god of deceit that they were trying to destabilize the “Sacred Time Line”. Behind the actions of the AVT were the mysterious Guardians of Timewho turned out to be robotic puppets.
The Guardians were, in reality, the cover for “He Who Remains”, a benign variant of Kang the Conqueror that he was trying to prevent his other, less benevolent versions from spreading across the multiverse. TO Sylvia he did not like the plan, so he dispatched the “villain” played by the actor Jonathan Majors.

It seems to be the same one that Sylvie destroyed in season 1 of the Disney Plus Marvel series, so it may imply Loki’s return to his own timeline.
