Ukrainian defender with a Russian passport Alexander Masalov left without a club.
Team from Russia “Ufa” reported that the contract with the player was terminated by mutual agreement.
Masalov, 25, joined Ufa in August 2022 as a free agent. Shortly after another shelling of Chernihiv, where the footballer lived, his Russian passport was found. The Desna ultras, for which Alexander played last season, burned a useless piece of paper and handed over Masalov’s Ukrainian passport to the SBU.
It should be noted that Oleksandr is a graduate of Dynamo Kyiv, but at the age of 19 he moved to the Shakhtar Academy. He is also known for his performances with Desna, Kolos and Dynamo-Avto Tiraspol.
