After several teasers, OnePlus officially presented its first Android tablet. Named OnePlus Pad, this is a very interesting product, both for its build quality and for the features it offers.
The OnePlus Pad has a very interesting construction and a set of details that make it stand out from its main rivals. It is, in fact, a true flagship to celebrate OnePlus’ entry into a market segment that has seen better days.
OnePlus Pad is an Android tablet with premium build
First of all, it’s important to look at the construction and design of the OnePlus Pad. Built in an aluminum body, the Chinese’s first tablet is robust and elegant, thus justifying the premium feeling associated with it.
OnePlus speaks of a slightly curved construction that will enhance the comfort of using your first tablet. It will be, according to the brand, comfortable enough to be used all day, in order to be your faithful companion in different activities.
In terms of design, we have two details that will set the OnePlus Pad apart from the competition. Firstly, its rear camera, housed in a circle that will hardly go unnoticed even by the eyes of others. There we will find its only 13 MP lens and even an LED flash.
The second point that differentiates the OnePlus Pad is its screen ratio. It features an unprecedented 7:5 ratio and an incredible 88% utilization of its front structure, creating the perfect margin for comfortable use.
Since we are talking about the OnePlus Pad screen, it has an IPS LCD panel with a diagonal of 11.61 inches and a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels. It also has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 5000 nits.
Mediatek Dimensity 9000 commands all operations
When we say that the OnePlus Pad has flagship attributes, we are not just referring to its build quality. Its driving force is one of the best top processors on the market.
At the helm we find the powerful SoC Dimensity 9000 from MediaTek. This comes with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory.
The OnePlus Pad battery has a 9510 mAh cell with interesting promises for its autonomy. According to the brand, it will be enough for 12 hours of continuous video playback or a whole month in standby mode.
When energy is scarce, the presence of SuperVOOC fast charging technology at 67 W will show your fiber. Thanks to it, it will be possible to fully replenish the battery of the OnePlus Pad in approximately 80 minutes.
Note also for OnePlus Pad compatibility with OnePlus Stylo and OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard. They are two accessories designed to increase the productivity of this Android tablet, but which should not be included in the tablet box.
Unfortunately, OnePlus has not released information about the price of its Android tablet. We only know that it will enter the pre-sale phase in April and more information will be announced in due time.
