A brand new PC demo of System Shock – the full remake of the groundbreaking 1994 original – has gone live as part of the Steam Next Fest, which runs from February 6th to 13th.
Combining iconic gameplay with brand new HD graphics, updated controls, a revamped user interface, and all-new sounds and music (even featuring the original voice of “Shodan”), the demo allows players to experience the entire opening level without limitations while exploring Confront “Shodan” and her fearsome minions.
You must use a combination of stealth, cunning, and futuristic weaponry to navigate your way through Citadel Station’s all-new areas, traps, puzzles, and secrets to reach Shodan.
Facing them is an army of hostile and mutant creatures created and controlled by “Shodan” himself, which players must either fight or avoid in order to survive.
