February 7th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. by Sebastian Glanzer – In video games, players who spend a lot of money on microtransactions, for example, are called “Whale”. On Twitch, whales are the ones who donate the most money to streamers. Twitch streamer Amouranth recently revealed in a live stream with xQc how much money her whales give her each year.
On her way to starting her own animal shelter, Twitch streamer Amouranth has increased her money through various new companies and also makes a lot of money on platforms other than Twitch. Despite lucrative other platforms like Onlyfans, her Twitch streams still bring her significant profits.
Amouranth recently revealed this in a stream with Twitch’s largest streamer xQc. There she revealed how much her hardcore Twitch fans send her in donations throughout the year.

“I have three to five guys on Twitch who each donate over $90,000 a year,” Amouranth said in an interview with xQc. The streamer looks visibly surprised by the high sum. So Amouranth gets over $250,000 a year from just a handful of viewers, with taxes of course to be kept in mind.
Amouranth notes that over the years the number of these “whales” has decreased as the stream has continued to grow and attract more viewers. “If you have 5,000 viewers, maybe you’re getting $90,000 total for the year because the whales aren’t getting their attention from you because there are so many people chatting,” she explained. “So they don’t send that much money.”

This shows how much some Twitch viewers seek a so-called parasocial relationship with their favorite streamers. It was only in June last year that Amouranth was dealing with a fan who had sold his house and yard in his home country to find the streamer in real life. The Twitch streamer is said to earn $30 million a year through Onlyfans. Your ultimate career goal will continue to be buying or supporting a huge farm for some racehorses that have been retired. Amouranth actually wanted to start her e-girl pension in June 2022. As a reason for the delay, the streamer states that she has responsibility for her many employees in the background.
