Xiaomi is now reinforcing its catalog of specific products for the domestic market with a very peculiar launch, its Xiaomi Walkie Talkie 2S. It stands out for its declared autonomy of up to 120 hours, as well as its inherent capabilities.
At issue is a two-way communicator radio, commonly known as a walkie-talkie, equipped with a 1.7-inch color screen to present relevant information in an easy and simple way. The manufacturer highlights the sharpness of this screen and the good precision and definition for the contents.

As a communication gadget, the Xiaomi Walkie Talkie 2S has 4W of power for transmission and can be charged via USB Type C. In other words, adapting to the most current standards.
In addition, we have the IP54 certification that makes it more resistant to water (splashes) and especially to dust, something useful for a product that will be used mainly outdoors.
Light, robust and above all pragmatic format
The new Xiaomi product also has an FM radio that can be natively tuned so that we always have a point of contact with the world, or simply listen to music during our excursions.
Its format is easy to fit in any pocket, with rounded edges and a rectangular design. We have a notorious antenna on top, guaranteeing a maximum operating radius greater than that of previous generations of the product, even though the manufacturer has not specified values.

You will find these connections on the side of the Xiaomi Walkie Talkie 2S, protected under a flap that aims to keep dust and splashes out of its interior. Again, a very pragmatic design for this gadget designed to be used outdoors.
Autonomy for up to 120 hours of use according to Xiaomi
The Xiaomi Walkie Talkie 2S is only available in its home market of China at the time of this writing. There, the product costs 299 yuan, equivalent to about 45 dollars, or close to 42 euros at the current conversion rate.
In short, we are facing a new iteration of its most accessible intercom, with the third generation model already existing, more expensive and equipped with more technologies.
It is in this 2S, however, that we possibly find the best quality / price ratio in products of this type for specific needs.
