Robert Bagratuni, the game director of Atomic Hearthe revealed during an interview duration e how many types of weapons we will be able to use within Mundifsh’s awaited first-person shooter.
According to the estimate offered by Bagratuni, it will take 20 to 25 hours to get to the end credits of Atomic Heart focusing on the main campaign. However given the presence of various optional activities players could employ even 35 – 40 hours to complete everything. In any case, this is a general estimate and as usual in these cases a lot also depends on the pace of the player.
“To complete the main story campaign, it will take players about 20-25 hours,” the game director said in the interview with Segment-Next. “But since the world of Atomic Heart is quite large and filled with various tasks, it will take much longer to complete everything. In fact, it is difficult to give the exact number, however, I can assume that the game itself may take the player about 35 to complete -40 hours.”
As for the tools of death available to the player, Bragatuni reveals that there will be Atomic Heart 12 different weapon categories and for each “various types of upgrades and multiple branches of skills” are available. In short, the variety should not be missing.
“There will be 12 types of weapons in total, and for each of them there are different types of upgrades and multiple skill branches,” added Bagratuni.
“To be able to upgrade your arsenal, you will have to collect components by searching every piece of furniture, equipment and corpse around. When you have enough components, you will be able to use a crafting machine NORA, whose artificial intelligence will surprise you with its cheeky behavior You will have the opportunity to create projectiles, add elemental effects to them and create other things as well.”
Atomic Heart will be available from February 21, 2023, also for PS5 and PS4. It will be included in the PC and Xbox Game Pass catalog at launch. In the meantime, you can read our tried and tested Mundifish shooter and start the preload on Xbox.
