Shortly before the launch of “Atomic Heart” the question arises as to how long the title will keep the players busy on average. These and other questions were answered in an interview.
Segment Next had the opportunity to chat with the game director responsible for “Atomic Heart”, Robert Bagratuni. He answered the question of how long players will deal with the shooter before they see the end.
“It will take players around 20 to 25 hours to complete the main story campaign. But since the world of Atomic Heart is quite large and filled with many different activities, it will take much longer to fully complete.”
It is difficult to give an exact number for the completion of the game. But one can assume that the players will need about 35 to 40 hours to complete it, according to the interview.
According to Bagratuni, “Atomic Heart” offers a suitable challenge for players of different skill levels. At the same time, they can decide whether they want to take it easy and relaxed or put their skills to the test and choose a higher level of difficulty that suits their own wishes.
“We wanted every player to be free to choose how they would like to experience the game. That’s why we’ve created three levels of difficulty: the easy story mode, the normal difficulty mode, and the hardest for players who like tough challenges,” says the game director.
Players can loot anything
In Atomic Heart, players can work through the challenges with twelve weapon types. And a crafting system is also available, in which the players do not appear to face any major hurdles.
Bagratuni emphasized: “There will be no restrictions here. Players can loot and take any components they find. The main thing is to keep collecting them and investing in upgrading the arsenal to reach the end and reveal the truth behind the technological nightmare happening in the world of Atomic Heart.”
