Paradox Interactive today announced Cities: Skylines – Remastered, an updated edition of the city simulation game designed specifically for the expanded capabilities of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. All players who already own Cities: Skylines and its expansions for the PlayStation 4 or for the Xbox One will receive the Remastered Edition for their PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S for free (as well as the Remastered DLCs up to the Airports expansion).
Cities: Skylines – Remastered features a number of improvements optimized for current-gen consoles, including additional buildable tiles to create larger cities and the ability to freely place buildings. This revised edition also improves graphical performance to better reflect the larger cities players can create on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The updates

Cities: Skylines – Remastered will be available on February 15, 2023.
Revised editions of the other DLCs will be made available in the coming months.
