Today, Naughty Dog released a new video about their super popular The Last of Us series.
In the video, developers from the studio and the creators of the HBO series, along with the actors, discuss the design of the Boston quarantine zone and the city of Bill. Interestingly, they also delve into relationships between some of these characters that are definitely dictated by and influenced by the world around them.
It comes just in time as The Last of Us Part 1 is coming to PC soon after it was recently delayed by just under a month to March 28th. In addition, the HBO series continues to break records, proving that the franchise has great storytelling potential even outside of its video game incarnation.

The post-apocalyptic adventure game was originally released by Naughty Dog in 2013 for PS3 and was remastered for PS4 a year later. A remake called The Last of Us Part 1 was released for PS5 last year.
A sequel titled The Last of Us Part 2 was released to critical acclaim for PS4 in 2020. Naughty Dog is currently working on a multiplayer game in the world of the franchise, which we know very little about, but is rumored to be one of the developers’ most ambitious projects, and news about it was promised later this year.
The TV show recently debuted on HBO and HBO Max and has been widely praised by critics and fans. After airing just two episodes, the series was renewed for a second season, which is certainly a testament to its success and how much fans love the franchise.
