Head coach of the Ukrainian men’s biathlon team Juraj Sanitra praised the performance of the Ukrainian national team in the World Cup mixed relay and told who will come out at the start in the sprint race.
“Dudchenko and Pidruchny adequately ran along the track. Then we will prepare for the next start – the sprint. I can say that Prima and Tsymbal will start there. We will name the other two after tomorrow’s training, when we will see how Pidruchny and Dudchenko recover. If all goes well, they will run.
Dmitry has a problem that lacks starts. Therefore, he started a little with a margin, then he added, and on the last lap he was the way we want him to be for all three laps.
Dudchenko lost to the best – Johannes Boe – about 45 seconds. That’s not a lot. Even if the second fastest lost 30 seconds. The run was good, the skis worked. I hope that the sprint will be better than today’s start,” Sanitra said.
The sprint race for men will take place on Friday, starting at 15:30 Kyiv time.
