Bungie today released a new trailer showcasing Filament, the next Shadow subclass introduced in Destiny 2: Lightfall. The trailer shows the Guardians using their Thread abilities in the neon city of Neomun.
New superpowers:
Warlock Broodweaver: Needle Storm
Floating in the air, Warlocks unleash a wave of piercing missiles from Thread. After the missiles hit their enemies, they detonate and turn into Tradlings that stalk nearby targets.
Titan Berserker: Blade Fury
Titans weave large blades into their hands as they roam the battlefield using light and heavy attacks. Light attacks allow Titans to quickly slash enemies and store energy for their heavy attack, in which they swing their blades to launch projectiles that suspend and incapacitate enemies on impact.
Hunter Threadrunner: Silk Strike
Hunters spin a rope dart to hit their enemies. A light attack throws a dart forward to hit a single enemy. Hitting an enemy with the tip of the dart deals additional damage, and defeating enemies in this way causes them to explode. A powerful attack swings a rope dart over a large area, dealing damage to all nearby enemies.
In Thread, each class has access to the new Hook ability, which will give players the ability to orbit Neomuna and fight the Legion of Shadows. Destiny 2: Lightfall releases on February 28th.
