The IGN portal, as part of its IGN First column, presented an exclusive gameplay video for the Jedi action Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment.

In the IGN video, the protagonist Cal Castis – one of the last Jedi in the galaxy – as a result of an emergency landing at the initial stage of the passage, finds himself on the planet Koboh, which had not previously appeared in the Star Wars franchise.
Stretching for nine minutes, the video shows mostly linear locations that Cal will have to overcome on Koboh. In the excerpt, he does it on his own two feet, but the project will include mounts and fast travel.
Events on Koboh unfold closer to the beginning of the game, so especially advanced techniques were not shown, but in the video, Cal can already split his double lightsaber into two (double stance), as well as use slow and Force push.
The hero opposes his skills to the droids of the Clone Wars, their masters with energy staves and the various aggressive fauna of Koboh. People are still not cut with a lightsaber (age rating for the game is “teenager”).
Wall running from Fallen Order (screenshot from it) also has not gone away
The audience in the comments to the IGN video was generally satisfied with what they saw (more than 300 likes for 20 dislikes), however, they noted some comical / absurdity of the protagonist’s walking and running animation.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is expected to release on April 28 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The game is a direct sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order with the same main character, improved combat system and ray tracing.
