It became known that the animated film Resident Evil: Vendetta will receive a sequel with the subtitle Deadly Island. Responsible for adaptation Sony Pictures Entertainment, and the CG anime teaser trailer is already available online. The premiere will take place in the summer of 2023, the names of the director and screenwriter are known: in the director’s chair Eiytiro Hasumifor the script in the answer Makoto Fukami.
According to the synopsis, Agent Leon Scott Kennedy tries to save Dr. Taylor, but a woman stands in his way. At the same time, Chris Redfield is investigating an outbreak of a zombie virus in San Francisco, but the cause of the infection is still shrouded in mystery. The only thing that unites the victims is their stay on Alcatraz Island, where Chris and the head of the group go, not suspecting what horror awaits them there.
The anime is another CG adaptation of the Resident Evil game series, and judging by the fragments shown, the viewer is expected to have a tense atmosphere and great computer graphics.
