Gunfire Games has finally started sharing information about the third-person soulslick shooter Remnant 2. In the first article, the developers talked about a location called Yaesha and two bosses that players will have to fight.
Yaesha has changed a lot since the last time a human foot set foot there. In the once lush and vibrant jungle, now only death and decay reign. Local residents tried to stop the invasion and fight back the enslavers, but their efforts were in vain. In the end, the Root exterminated the inhabitants of Yaeshi and turned it into a dead desert.
The wolf is the Ravager from the first game Remnant: From the Ashes, who was defeated in battle with the main character. Trying to save himself, in a fit of desperation, he made a deal with Root, agreeing to help conquer Yaeshu. Now he serves a new master and threatens to destroy the world he once was a part of.
The Red Empress is the same armored woman depicted in the Remnant 2 logo. Not only the merciless forces of the Root, but also the rebel caste of slaves, resist her. She is fighting hopeless battles on two fronts, suffering colossal losses and losing the remnants of influence. The army of the empress is melting before our eyes, and the number of people devoted to her is getting smaller every day.
Remnant 2 will release in 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
