With “WWE 2K22” the wrestling market leader managed to return after a one-year forced break. “WWE 2K20” previously suffered a crashing shipwreck, so that a restart was inevitable. With “WWE 2K22” they were reconciled with the community and were more open than ever before in the months that followed. Frequent updates and even free content off the DLC roadmap set the mood for a decent, if not perfect, product.
With “WWE 2K23”, which will be released on March 17, 2023, publisher 2K Games and developer Visual Concepts are switching back to the rhythm of the annual releases. Work on the successor began as soon as the predecessor was completed.
