The International Swimming Federation has announced that Singapore has won the right to host the 2025 FINA World Championships. Earlier, the tournament was planned to be held in the Russian city of Kazan.
It should be noted that in May 2022, Kazan was already deprived of the right to host the 2022 World Cup in swimming in a 25-meter pool, and recently UEFA took away the right to host the UEFA Super Cup from this city.
More than 2,500 athletes from 209 national member federations are expected to participate in the 2025 FINA World Championships.
The World Aquatics Championship brings together six water sports: swimming, water polo, diving, competitive swimming, open water swimming and high diving.
