After a long absence and significant delays, WayForward’s Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is finally coming to Nintendo Switch on April 21st. Being a remake of the first two Advance Wars games, it features heavily redesigned visuals.
Each game supports Versus Mode with support for up to four players who fight each other (or team up in co-op). Both local and online play is supported. A Map Creator is also available, allowing players to create their own maps. New quality-of-life features include speeding up battles, skipping animations, and more.
Gameplay includes controlling Andy, Max, Sami and other characters, creating units, capturing bases and more to defeat enemies. Each character has their own specialization and can also use CO abilities that can turn the tide.
