After “Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp” was postponed to an indefinite date last year, there is now clarity. Specifically, a specific release date was announced in yesterday’s Direct issue.
“Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp” will be available exclusively for Switch from April 21st. With a new video for the strategy title we can pass the waiting time until then.
ABOUT ADVANCE WARS 1+2: RE-BOOT CAMP
Take on the role of a tactical advisor to the Orange Star army and command troops in strategic turn-based combat. Demonstrate tactical skill as you maneuver land, air, and naval units across the battlefield. Eliminate enemy groups and capture cities and bases to achieve victory and keep the peace. But pay attention to the terrain and the weather, because both can influence the course of the battle. This remake includes two campaigns that will let you relive the events of Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising!
FIGHT SIDE-TO-SIDE WITH SKILLED COMMANDERS
Defend your land with the support of Andy, Max, Tami, and more Commanders, each with their own unique traits and Commander gifts. Andy can repair units while Tami can boost troop abilities. But your opponents can also use Commander’s Gifts! In both campaigns, the commanders you encounter play a critical role, both on the battlefield and in the story.
RECRUIT FRIENDS AND DISCOVER WHO IS THE BETTER STRATEGIC
When you’re not busy keeping the peace in the two campaigns, you can test your tactical skills in Versus mode. There, up to four players can compete on dozens of maps. Any player can choose a Commander from any campaign and use their Commander Traits to turn the tide of battle. Battles can be customized to suit your tastes with options such as funds per base or fog of war.
