There can be no particular doubt that the fighters will be handed over sooner or later: according to the law of military science, without air support, there is nothing to do in modern combat operations. In this regard, the Kremlin spoke about the appearance in Ukraine of European, and then, possibly, American fighters.
According to Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the transfer of British fighter jets to Ukraine will be regrettable, since such actions will only prolong the conflict, making it “more painful and excruciating for Ukraine.” As for the course of the special operation, the British fighters, Peskov said, would not affect him in any way.
