To the names already announced for the 15th edition of MEO Marés Vivas, which takes place on the 14th, 15th and 16th of July, in Vila Nova de Gaia, a new name is added. You Black Eyed Peas go up, for the first time, to the MEO stage of MEO Marés Vivas on the 16th of July.
The trio of Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap and Taboo — whose career began in the 90s — is now joined by J. Rey, who sings on stage some parts of Fergie, who left the group about five years ago , when the Black Eyed Peas started a new phase in their path.
The Black Eyed Peas became immensely popular in the early 2000s, especially after their 2005 album “Monkey Business”. their hits played constantly on radio and in clubs, and sold millions of records around the world.
Years later, the Black Eyed Peas returned to the mission of creating more commercial singles and with the album “Translation” — with the participation of renowned international artists -, an album that featured tracks like “Mamacita” (with Ozuna), “Ritmo ( Bad Boys for Life)” (featuring J Balvin) or “Girl Like Me” (featuring Shakira).
These are the themes that the Black Eyed Peas come to present at MEO Marés Vivas—in addition to already classic songs such as “Pump It”, “Where is the Love” or “Let’s Get It Started”, and songs from the more electronic phase such as “Boom Boom Pow”, “I’ve Got a Feeling” and “The Time (Dirty Bit)”. “Scream & Shout” or “This Love”, solo themes by Will.i.am, and the newborn single “Don’t You Worry”, will also not be missing from the lineup.
