The game engine does not always understand what exactly they want from it.
Modder Praydog is developing a VR mode for action RPG Hogwarts Legacy. While the mode is at an early stage: you can already walk around Hogwarts in a virtual reality headset, but there are bugs.
In the first gameplay video, you can see glitches that occur from time to time. It seems that the interface also does not always understand in which direction the character’s body is directed, and in which direction – his head.
Chances are Hogwarts Legacy will get an unofficial VR mode pretty soon. The game is made on the Unreal Engine 4, and Praydog has been working on an injector for several months that simplifies the creation of VR modes for projects on this engine.
It is worth noting that the interaction with the game world will remain the same as in the normal game mode. Praydog mods allow you to use headsets, but do not allow you to interact with objects in the game world in new ways, such as grabbing them.
