We are now close to Super Bowl LVIIa purely American sporting event which, at this point, has a practically global resonance, therefore we can also expect great ones marketing initiatives like the one that seems to have been set up by Sony with a mysterious “Blizzard on Midgard” which will air during the evening and it just seems connected to God of War Ragnarok.
We don’t know exactly what this mysterious “snowstorm over Midgard” is, but we do know that it is scheduled for February 12, 2023, or at Super Bowl LVII. PlayStation’s social accounts, through Instagram and Facebook, are betting heavily on this date, predicting “snowstorms” on that day, all linked to the various sightings of giant hammers and axes around the world.
“PlayStation fans are encouraged to keep an eye out on social channels for more surprises and celebrations of favorite PS5 games. Today, Odin’s Crows detected a new teaser on PlayStation Canada’s Instagram and Facebook channels, with a storm forecast “There’s snow on Midgard for this Sunday. To see what comes of it, be sure to tune in to the big game this weekend,” reads a statement from PlayStation in North America.
Obviously, this can spark a wide range of theories, including some wild ones about possible new PS5 games that could be announced during Super Bowl LVII, even if the reference seems to be directly related to God of War Ragnarok. More likely, it could be a large-scale advertising campaign by Sony PlayStation, also given the recent promotional hype “Live from PS5” which was relaunched by Sony with the return of PS5 availability.
