As Deadline collects, Prime Video has given the green light to a new television series based on the books by Kay Scarpetta, a famous literary saga created by Patricia Cornwell.
It will be Nicole Kidman who assumes the role of Kay Scarpetta, a forensic pathologist who is dedicated to solving crimes with the help of forensic technology. For her part, Jamie Lee Curtis will play Dorothy Scarpetta, Kay’s sister.
In addition to Blumhouse Television, Nicole Kidman is executive producing the project through Blossom Films, while Jamie Lee Curtis is also executive producing through Comet Pictures.
