Author under the nickname Praydog is developing a VR mod that will be able to activate support for technology in games with Unreal Engine – among them there are Hogwarts Legacy.
Earlier, the same enthusiast, by the way, created a VR mode for Resident Evil 2, and has now taken on other projects. A video with a VR test at Hogwarts Legacy from the author has already appeared on the network YouTube– channel Flat2VR – he admitted that he always dreamed of seeing Hogwarts in a similar format.
So far, the mod does not support VR helmet controllers, so those who wish need to use the usual control methods. In the video itself, the user walked along the main corridors of the magical school and showed a little of the territory surrounding it.
So far, this fan-made VR mod for Unreal Engine there is no exact release date, however, its test version has already been tested in Fortnite. Hogwarts Legacy itself continues to gain popularity due to early access – recently online news in Steam bypassed Fallout 4. The full release of the project will take place on February 10 for PS5, Xbox Series and PC, but the owners of other consoles (PS4, Xbox One, Switch) will have to wait longer.
