The Last of Us returned this Monday to HBO Max with the fourth episode of this adaptation of the naughty dog game that has been succeeding for three generations of consoles.
In this week’s chapter, Joel and Ellie arrive at Kansas Citywhere they soon become trapped after being ambushed by the hunters. The series also introduces a leader for this faction who, in the game, have been elements for Joel to practice aiming.
That character destined to lead the Hunters is Kathleeninterpreted by Melanie Lynskeyof Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, the actress has not been slow to suffer hurtful comments from some of the viewers.
Specifically, there has been ridicule for the physical appearance of Melanie Lynskey in her interpretation of Kathleen. Despite not appearing in the game, many believe that Melanie Lynskey doesn’t give the character the look of someone living in an apocalyptic world like the one in The Last of Us.
Melanie Lynskey is very forceful with criticism of her appearance in The Last of Us
Through Twitter, the actress has reacted to these criticisms, citing one of them in which they point out that her physique is more typical of a life of luxury than of one in the uncertain world and full of dangers of The Last of Us.
In addition to noting that the shared image comes from a style magazine and not from the series of HBO MaxLynskey points out that his character He stands out for his intelligence, and he doesn’t need muscles.
Firstly- this is a photo from my cover shoot for InStyle magazine, not a still from HBO’s The Last Of Us. And I’m playing a person who meticulously planned & executed an overthrow of FEDRA. I am supposed to be SMART, ma’am. I don’t need to be muscly. That’s what henchmen are for pic.twitter.com/YwkmkwUdOm
