Canadian alpine skier James Crawford sensationally won gold at the 2023 Super G World Championships. He was only 0.01 seconds ahead of the Norwegian Alexander Omozht Kilde. Bronze was won by the freshly-baked world champion in combination, the owner of the championship, Alexis Pinturo from France. The leader of the World Cup, Swiss Marco Odermatt, was left without a medal – fourth place.
