Speculation about the release date continues Starfieldhighly anticipated RPG initially scheduled for November 2022 and then postponed to an unspecified date in the first half of 2023. To feed them is the prolonged silence of Microsoft and Bethesda, which in the meantime are preparing a themed event for the next few weeks .
While waiting for the clarifying showcase, which according to rumors could be aired in early March, Jez Corden has once again had his say on the subject. A little less than two weeks ago the pen of Windows Central had planned a new postponement for Starfield to after the summer, however during a chat with Rand at Thor 99 as part of the latest episode of the podcast The Xbox Two he predicted a launch in June 2023which would fit perfectly into the official release window communicated by Microsoft (first half of 2023).
Commenting on the speculation of the community – which given related issues would like to see Starfield on the shelves in time for the International Space Day in early May – Corden said: “I’ve heard about it often. A lot of people think that the launch date of Starfield may be tied to International Space Day. I’m of the opinion that Starfield will launch in June. This is my prediction, even if I bet for a postponement until after the summer. The latest information I’ve received suggests a June launch“.
Jez Corden is a personality who has proven to be knowledgeable about what goes on behind the scenes at Microsoft and Xbox, however his words cannot be taken at face value. The only official information in our possession, we recall, indicates the sci-fi RPG to be released in the first half of 2023. To find out more we will have to wait for the Bethesda showcase with Starfield, which could be aired in early March, or ( if we’re lucky) tomorrow’s Super Bowl, given that according to some rumors Microsoft would have bought an advertising space during the most popular sporting event in the United States of America.
