Within a recent fiscal report drawn up for 2022, the CEO of Remedy EntertainmentTero Virtala, has revealed the ambitious plans for the future of the Finnish publisher, who seems intent on strengthen its presence on the market through targeted strategies.
Among the key points of Remedy’s strategy is the will to publish at least one title a year starting from 2023, then further strengthening its offer with a series of additional free and paid contents. Here are the words of the CEO:
“Our medium-term roadmap is now in place and our focus is fully on the titles currently in development. Investments in our teams, the Northlight game engine and toolset, support functions and development external are the key factors for our growth in the coming years. We plan to release one new game per year starting in 2023, accompanied by additional free and paid content.”
Well, in the wake of what was declared by CEO Virtala, it is then no surprise that the company’s portfolio could potentially expand with theinclusion of licensed Marvel titles. A rumor circulated last year suggested a hypothetical Remedy title dedicated to Dr. Strange, with the happiness of all the fans of the House of Ideas. Unfortunately, however, these rumors came from one unreliable sourcewhich hasn’t posted any updates on the matter since.
In the meantime, we have returned to talk about Alan Wake 2 again. The developers have declared that the title is now ready and playable from start to finish.
