Blizzard has shared a short video that gives you a better look at Doomfist’s appearance as the protagonist of the One Punch Man anime.
We are looking forward to launching our collaboration with One Punch Man,” wrote Aaron Keller. “We’ve never done a collab on this scale before. The world of Overwatch and its heroes hold a special place in our hearts, and their looks and voice acting greatly influence gameplay.
We want to keep their uniqueness in such collaborations. You will notice that the One Punch Man inspired skins are the costumes of the characters in this anime that our heroes wear. In these skins, the heroes will retain their images and voice acting. Our goal is to naturally integrate characters from other franchises into the game, and not replace our heroes. With each such collaboration, we learn something new, we plan to do more of them and get better every time.
The Overwatch 2 x One Punch Man collaboration event will run in-game from March 7 to April 6.
