The One UI 5.1 update could be rolled out starting February 22. Based on Android 13 and announced alongside the Galaxy S23, the new version of Samsung’s Android overlay could start rolling out to the Galaxy S22, Z Fold 4, and Z Flip 4.

The first Galaxy S23 should be delivered this week and run by default under One UI 5.1. The Canadian operator Fido has published on its forum the deployment schedule for the new version of the Android overlay for the Samsung Galaxy.
Obviously, the carrier has indicated the same availability date for the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4. Samsung has not confirmed the official release, but it is assumed that this schedule may be similar in other regions for the aforementioned devices.
Regarding compatibility with other models, the South Korean manufacturer has not specified which of its older smartphones will be supported. It is possible that all Samsung Galaxy which have been updated to One UI 5.0, will receive One UI 5.1. The Galaxy A should also receive the update.

One UI 5.1: The new features
Some of the features brought by the new update include the addition of hue control in the camera app and multi-character in the Emoji AR app. Samsung has also improved the gallery with in particular the optimized search and a customizable folder for saving screenshots.
