Released in 2001, the first episode of Fast and Furious brought together Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and the late Paul Walker around rowdy street racing. More than 20 years later, the series still enjoys a commercial success that prevents it from getting in the way. After 10 episodes, 2 short films and various appearances in the world of video games (Forza Horizon 2, Rocket League), the Fast and Furious saga is about to welcome Fast X which will be released in French theaters on May 17, 2023. This episode is divided into two parts. The first welcomes on board Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Alan Ritchson, Michelle Rodriguez accompanied by two stars who have played in Marvel and DC Comics films with Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Brie Larson (Captain Marvel).

It was at the microphone of Variety that Vin Diesel admitted to having a role in mind for Robert Downey Jr. on the occasion of a future episode of the franchise. The interpreter of Dominic Toretto would indeed like the main actor of Iron-Man to play a protagonist who promotes AI, technology, and driverless cars. In other words, the antithesis of Toretto who prefers to get his hands dirty to solve problems rather than let the robots do the job. For her part, Michelle Rodriguez declared that she would love to play alongside Matt Damon, she who loved Jason Bourne very much.
Fast and Furious 10, or Fast X, is directed by Louis Leterrier (The Transporter, Danny The Dog, Clash of the Titans). In this new installment, Dom and his family will have to face a threat that he thought was buried. The son of Fast 5 drug lord Hernan Reyes has hatched a hellish plan to avenge his father’s death. In the four corners of the world, Dante Reyes will track down Dom as well as his relatives. In his hunt, he will join forces with former antagonists of the hero.
Fast X will be released on May 17, 2023 in cinemas.
