Publisher Devolver Digital and developers from the South African studio Free Lives (Broforce, Anger Foot) presented new gameplay trailer of his “environmentally conscious” urban strategy Terra Nil.
Recall that according to the plot, players in Terra Nil need to turn a bare wasteland into an ecological paradise with a variety of flora and fauna, globally reconstructing the environment and returning the area to its original appearance.
The video is titled “The Pleasure of Reclamation” (land improvement package) and features almost four minutes of peaceful Terra Nil gameplay to the sounds of nature and environmental improvement.
Terra Nil developers promise meditative gameplay, procedural map generation, “unique weather conditions for different regions”, hand-drawn graphics, relaxing music and text translation into Russian.
Terra Nil is expected to release this coming spring simultaneously on PC (Steam) and Netflix (iOS and Android). In parallel with this game, Free Lives is making the hardbass shooter Anger Foot and the roguelike actioner Stick it to the Stickman.
