That’s it, after an initial two-week delay, Warzone 2 Season 2 is set to land on PC and console in 24 hours. But among the novelties that will arrive, are there plans to add one of the most appreciated modes of the first version of the game, Pillage?

When we switched to Call of Duty Warzone 2, many fans breathed a sigh of relief. Since the migration on the Caldera map, the game needed a second wind and the release of this new game was clearly seen as that second wind.
Except that with this new game, a lot of modes have also disappeared. This is for example the case of Resurgence which after a few months of absence will make its return at the launch of this season 2. We also reveal the Ashika Island map in more detail in a previous article.
But another game mode is still missing, Pillage. If for the moment, nothing has been formalized on this subject, a few days ago, a video where a money indicator appeared at the bottom left of the screen revived the debates around a future appearance of the game mode.
An arrival for season 2?
The first thing to say is that at the moment there is nothing official about this Plunder game mode. However, given the popularity of the game mode, there is a good chance that the latter will arrive. The video above could also be proof that tests are taking place right now.
Anyway, should we wait for a release for season 2? Well, when it comes to the start of the season, the answer is obviously no. The one that arrives tomorrow and if such a game mode were to be released, we would have news. Besides, we recently concocted an article summarizing the new features to come in this patch.
However, it may be possible to see this game mode land during the big mid-season update. If that is the case, no doubt we will have details in the coming weeks. But in the meantime, we won’t have much more to eat.
