All 5 treasure chests in Hogsmeade
Before you go hunting for these chests, you need to upgrade the Alohomora spell to level 3. We wrote more about it in this guide.
Treasure Chest #1
Check out the Three Broomsticks in the center of Hogsmeade and go up the stairs to the top floor. Opening the level 1 lock will take you to a room with this chest. Inside is the recipe for the Rescue Room.
Treasure chest #2
You need an unnamed house east of Three Broomsticks, marked on the map below. To get inside, you need to open the level 3 lock. A chest with a recipe is located near the entrance.
Treasure chest #3
This chest can be found on the second floor of the house located near the South Hogsmeade fast travel point. To get inside, you need to open the level 3 lock.
Treasure chest #4
You need one of the houses located on the northeastern outskirts of Hogsmeade. The exact location is shown on the map below. There is a level 3 lock on the door. After opening it, you can pick up the recipe for the Rescue Room from the chest.
Treasure chest #5
The last chest is located in the Peplumba Gang’s Secret Hideout in the southwest of Hogsmeade. You will gain access to this hidden area during the “Basic for Blackmail” side quest from the Natsai Onai quest chain.
Inside the shelter, run straight to the stop, then go down the stairs. In the great hall, keep to the left to find a chest with a recipe in the corner by the barrels.
