OPPO’s Find N2 Flip has been introduced in Europe this time. The N2 Flip is the first foldable device that OPPO launches in our region.
OPPO’s first foldable smartphone, the Find N, never appeared in Europe. The Find N2 has also not yet been launched outside China. With the Find N2 Flip, OPPO is therefore entering the international market of foldable smartphones for the first time. Outside the Chinese gates, the N2 Flip is already facing a lot of competition. Samsung is the market leader with its Z Flip series, but Motorola is also trying to gain a foothold with the revival of the old Razr.

The recipe of the OPPO Find N2 Flip does not differ too much from the aforementioned models. As the name suggests, it is a flip phone. On the inside you will find the 6.8-inch folding Full HD AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate. On the cover of the N2 Flip you will find the so-called cover screen, with a 3.26-inch diagonal and 17:9 aspect ratio.
The screen of the N2 Flip uses the same waterdrop folding technique as on the Motorola Razr. Such a hinge proved extremely effective on the Razr in keeping the fold lines to a minimum. A common complaint from Z Flip 4 users – a device that folds the screen flat – is that the panel has a visible and tactile fold line. Finally, OPPO reports that the folding screen on the Find N2 Flip can withstand 400,000 bending actions and even then feels sturdy.
OPPO goes all-in on MediaTek
A foldable smartphone is of course more than just the screen. Under the hood we still find the Dimensity 9000+ chipset from MediaTek. Although OPPO and MediaTek are no strangers to each other, it is the first time that OPPO has used MediaTek chipsets in a premium device. Last year, OPPO already provided the Reno8 series with MediaTek chips, but it still put Qualcomm chips in the Find N2 (non-Flip) and Find X5 series.
OPPO further equipped the N2 Flip with at least 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM, a 4,300 mAh battery (with 44-watt fast charging) and a fingerprint scanner in the power button. Finally, in terms of cameras, the flip phone is equipped with a 32 MP selfie camera, 50 MP primary camera and 8 MP wide-angle camera.
Availability in Europe
During the international launch on Wednesday evening, it became known that the N2 Flip is not for sale in Belgium and the Netherlands for the time being. It is currently already available in France and Spain, at 1,099 euros and 1,049 euros respectively. It is not known how much the foldable smartphone may cost in Belgium if it ever comes out here.
