The third season of Star Trek: Picard has recently landed on Paramount+, the new series focused on the iconic galactic franchise whose new episodes we will begin to see in Spain starting tomorrow through Prime Video.
The series brings back Patrick Stewart embodying veteran Captain Jean-Luc Picard, who will be drawn into a new adventure more than 30 years after the iconic character first sat on the command bridge of the iconic Starfleet ship.
This third season (in principle) will mean the final closure of Picard’s story, so fans are eager to know how the adventures of one of the most emblematic characters in film and television will end.
And it certainly seems that the end of Star Trek: Picard promises, since at the time of writing these lines the boot of the last season has a score of 100% in Rotten Tomatoes by specialized critics.
Will there be season 4 of Star Trek: Picard?
Despite the fact that this third season will be the last, there have been many rumors about the serie could continue with a season 4, which would imply that Patrick Stewart would continue embodying his iconic character a little longer.
These rumors have grown more with the recent statements made by Alex Kurtzman, executive producer of the series, who hinted at the possibility of a new batch of Star Trek: Picard episodes.
“Anything is possible. If a show blows the doors off the place, as we certainly hope it does, and we’re very, very proud of Season 3, who knows?” the producer stated.
What’s more, Patrick Stewart himself pointed out in a recent interview that Picard season 3 “will leave the doors open” for a possible season 4 and suggested that he would be willing to participate and resume his role as Jean Luc Picardas long as “the quality of work” of previous seasons is maintained.
The third (and in principle last) season of Star Trek: Picard will start on Prime Video Spain starting tomorrow, February 17, 2023. Would you like the series to continue with more seasons? Tell us your opinions in our comments section.
