We recently looked at the changes coming to League of Legends with Patch 13.4, confirmed by a dev on the Riot team. In these hours, however, other developers have released statements relating to new changes coming to ARAM mode after the “rework” seen last November.
In fact, at the end of 2022, the map saw the introduction of Hextech portals to travel to the farthest tower with extreme ease and the creation of debris on the map when the towers fall. Unfortunately, players didn’t really like these changes to the quintessential casual mode. Therefore, All Random All Mid (ARAM) is preparing to see new changes.
In the specific case of rubble of the destroyed towers, Riot has stated that they are “either heavily scaled or completely reverted to keep ARAM as a fun mode for the people who play it and address issues affecting the core experience rather than continually trying to reinvent it.” Hexgate (also called Frostgate) teleporters will only be modified if the flow and pace of ARAM games would be particularly affected by their existence.
Despite that, Riot Games is still happy with the changes applied and it will be mainly the champions who will receive more in the future with a view to balancing. However, new features to make all ARAM games more creative and balanced should not be excluded.
Staying on the subject, do you know that maybe League of Legends will no longer receive Prime capsules?
