Antec has unveiled the Midi Tower AX90, with an interesting diamond mesh front panel and pre-installed A-RGB fans.
According to Antec, the AX lineup includes budget gaming cases. Therefore, the AX90 has the typical features of gaming models. For example, a mesh front panel and four pre-installed 120mm fans, which allows us to hope for effective cooling. Three front fans and one rear fan are backlit with A-RGB LED. The built-in A-RGB controller allows you to control the lighting with the case button or synchronize it with a compatible motherboard.
The chassis ports are located on the right side of the cover. Namely, two USB 2.0, one USB 3.0 and an HD audio/microphone jack. But there is no USB Type C port. The AX90 measures 210 x 486 x 473 mm (W x H x D) and weighs about 6.8 kg. Antec makes the case out of steel and plastic. The left panel of the case is made of tempered glass, it offers a view of the interior and installed components.
A motherboard up to ATX format is installed inside the case. CPU coolers up to 16 cm high, video cards up to 38.5 cm long are acceptable, which is quite a lot. Two 3.5″ mounts can also be used to mount 2.5″ drives. Let’s add two mounts to them only for 2.5 “format. For CBO supporters, it is possible to install 360 mm radiators behind the front panel and under the cover. Also, one 240 mm radiator can be installed on the side, 120 mm on the back.
Dust filters are installed in front, under the cover, behind the right panel and below. Antec has left 23mm of cable management space behind the motherboard tray.
Antec has set the price at €100.
