Despite the fact that Fontaine will be released towards the end of August, insiders were able to share screenshots of some of the characters. Dataminers SYP reported that Captain R has about 20 designs, as the character is in development and may be very important to the plot.

What the players will eventually see on the release is still impossible to say. According to SYPsome of the earlier images were better and they’d rather not see them so as not to be disappointed.
Almost nothing is known about the heroine herself. It was originally assumed that she, as a character in patch 4.0, would be from Fontaine, however, the dataminer Mero hinted at the possibility of her Mondstadt origin. Many immediately associated its appearance with the Port of Thorns, the location of the Anemo region mentioned in the game, which is not yet on the map.
The captain’s weapons and God’s Eye are under a big question mark. Due to her green suit and rapier, she is referred to as Anemo swordsmen in discussions, but since the design is still not approved, HoYoverse is free to change anything.
