So far, there is no information whether it will be sold again sometime, but so far the developers have never given the opportunity to buy premium tier 9 vehicles again.

The T54 Heavy Tank is equipped with a 120mm gun, which is already a plus, since according to the 3-caliber rule, it will be able to penetrate more vehicles than tanks with a 105mm gun (common at level 9). The turret traverse speed is very slow, mediocre stabilization and for a long time information does not allow effective exchange of fire in dynamic battles and hitting from the “top”. At the same time, he has low accuracy, so you need to play only at close range and best of all from positioning.
The reload time is long, as a result, despite the outstanding alpha, the average damage per minute is inferior to all American level 9 TTs. The tank has good elevation angles -2…+25°, so it feels confident when playing from the terrain.
Vitality and armor T54
Health Points 1700 units – this is very small and reduces the chances of success in a 1v1 duel. On the numbers, frontal armor looks interesting, but in fact this tank is not suitable for a breakthrough and head-to-head fights in general.
It is worth playing carefully from the boards, as they have low security. T54 big NLDit will not be difficult to aim and break through it, and the “concrete” tower at first glance has notable commander’s cupolawhich is also easy to break through.
The turret is located on the right side, so when playing from defense, you can try to hide it. In general, the tank is more prone to blocking the breakthrough of enemy vehicles while behind cover, so it has the greatest chance of realizing its potential.
Mobility and intelligence
T54 mobility is sad, in this regard it inferior to all tanksselected for comparison. The maximum speed of 34 km / h is small, but at the same time it still has a low specific power of 14.46 hp / t, so even it is not able to gain it quickly. However, its cross-country ability on different types of soil is acceptable, so it keeps the gained speed well. The situation is similar with the speed of rotation of the chassis – the T54 has poor maneuverability, so it is very easy to spin it.
He was lucky at least with observation – viewing radius 400 meterswhich is very good for level 9.

All other modules are a purely individual choice, which you can refuse, as an option, you can still consider the Power take-off setting (scheme 1) in the 4th slot if you play in the defensive position. How to play T54 Heavy Tank
T54 Heavy Tank belongs to the category “Universal”. Dynamics and armor are not enough to break through enemy positions, but you can play the role of fire support, hiding behind allies or hiding behind the terrain. The optimal combat distance is medium or close, but at medium there is not enough accuracy / armor penetration, and at close it will be more difficult not to expose vulnerable areas to the enemy. Should I buy the T54 Heavy Tank?
The new premium tier 9 tank T54 doesn’t stand out for anything special in practice, so don’t be fooled by the nice declared armor and alpha numbers. In a modern random game, it is difficult to implement it due to the mediocre dynamics and parameters of the gun, therefore, the gameplay will not bring much pleasure. The low armor penetration of the basic projectile encourages players to play gold, which significantly reduces its profitability.
Like the previous level 9 premiums, this technique is inferior in many respects to pumped tanks and some promotional ones, therefore it is not suitable for “bending down”. Farming silver will be more effective at lvl 8 premiums, which can be bought for the same money or even cheaper.
The purchase option should be considered rather for those players who prefer to collect tanks, because it is not known whether there will still be an opportunity to get the T54 Heavy Tank. It is better for ordinary players and even more so for beginners to refrain from buying in order to avoid disappointment from unjustified expectations.
