The free update of Gran Turismo 7 with support for PS VR2 is available and brings with it numerous new contents for the last act of the Real Driving Simulator from Polyphony Digital.
The highlight of the update that brings Sony’s blockbuster racing to version 1.29 is obviously represented by the addition of features that allow players to devour the digital asphalt of the new version of Gran Turismo 7 for PlayStation VR2.
L’update introduce l’esclusiva area Showroom VR to admire the details of the car models from the Garage or dealerships. On the gameplay front, GT7 on PlayStation VR2 takes full advantage of the features of the new PS5 Virtual Reality viewer such as eye detection, Foveated Rendering, HDR Tone Mapping and dynamic 3D audio.
The update also brings theAdvanced AI of Gran Turismo Sophy in Race Together mode, with the ability to challenge the CPU in a head-to-head race available as a limited event (February 21st to the end of March). The GT Sophy preview is accessible on four circuits of increasing difficulty: each of the four races involves the use of identical cars and settings for each driver in the race, a condition that allows users to test the real capabilities of the new Polyphony AI digital.
On the gameplay and content front, GT7 Update 1.29 is the backdrop for the arrival of Highway 1 and Sud, the variants of one of the classic Gran Turismo tracks, Grand Valley. Like any self-respecting GT7 update, this time too we are witnessing the introduction of four new cars (Honda RA272 ’65, Italdesign EXENEO Vision Gran Turismo, Citroën DS 21 Pallas ’70 to Porsche 911 Carrera RS 901 ’73) and new functions for the photos to be taken in Scapes mode (Drift Phase and Shift Camera Up and Down).
